Event Specific Questions

What is my login info?

To access the event, you must sign in using your CEW username and password. If you have trouble with your password, please select the Forgot Password button to reset. If you need additional assistance with your login, please contact membership@cew.org

How do I access the sessions?

  1. Click the Agenda link in the main menu.
  2. Click Join Session 
  3. Click the CONTENTS tab to view the session.
  4. Recordings of the content will remain in the agenda on the date and time they ran.

Will I be able to view the recorded archive of the event sessions?

The recorded versions of the sessions will be posted 1 week after the event concludes. The process to access them will be similar to how you login for the live programs, but you will be able to view at your convenience.

I am having trouble with streaming audio, I can’t hear the speaker through my computer speakers, the streaming stopped… what do I do?

If you are not able to hear any audio through your computer speakers first check to make sure your speakers are not muted or turned off.

The next step is to refresh your screen by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard or clicking the “refresh” button in your web browser.

The slides are not loading; I can’t see the slides, other technical issues.

2.0Ghz Processor or faster 4 GB RAM (Greater than 4 GB is a benefit)

Browser must support HTML-5. To detect your browser version, run https://whichbrowser.net/

Chrome, Firefox and Edge are continuously updated by their publishers.  For the best experience, use the most current version.

Other Recommendations: It is recommended that you use a PC or MAC with an updated Internet Browser. Make sure you have pop-ups blockers disabled in your Internet browser settings. Make sure that your internet browser is Active X enabled. Wifi is not recommended. The problem with WiFi is signal strength can vary causing bandwidth to increase or decrease. We recommend a wired connection. A wired connection gives a consistent signal and consistent bandwidth. A wired connection provides a better experience. Audio (sound) is projected through your computer speakers. Be sure your computer is equipped with speakers or the room where the conference is being broadcast is equipped with speakers so you can hear the presenters.

How do I use Airmeet (for Roundtable Networking Session)?

How do I access the Airmeet networking session:

  1. Go to the AGENDA tab
  2. Click on the Networking accordion
  3. Click on the JOIN NETWORKING button. This will lead you to the Airmeet landing page, where you will be able to sign in to join the networking

How to Sign In to Airmeet:

  1. Use the event link provided by CEW to reach the event landing page. This page will display the event details (title, date, time description, etc.)
  2. Click on the “Register” button You will be requested to login using your email or via LinkedIn/Google/Facebook/Twitter
  3. Upon sign up, you will then have to confirm your details. Provide your name, designation, organization, and location details
  4. Select “Next” to go to the following screen to check all your details. If everything looks good, select “continue,” and you’re in! 

How to Navigate Airmeet: 

Now that you’ve entered Airmeet, you will land in the social lounge. We encourage you to make the most out of the social lounge during this time. The area allows you to interact with other participants of the event and hop between tables to meet new people and have conversations. In the Social Lounge, you can experience the following: 

  • Join tables: Each table will have up to 8 seats. Once you decide which table you’d like to join, click on an empty seat or click “Take a seat” to join. If you want to leave the conversation, click on the “Leave the table” button in the bottom right
  • View profiles: Click on the display picture of any participant to view their participant profiles
  • Table chat: You can chat on-screen with the other people seated at your table. 

Tips for Airmeet:

  • Use a laptop/desktop and Google Chrome to join.
  • Have a stable and reliable internet connection.
  • If you have difficulty, refresh the page/restart browser, and ensure that you close any other video conferencing tool you may have used recently. 

How Do I Use Gatheround (for Invitation Only Private Networking Session) 

  1. Close out other video platforms if they are open (Zoom, Hangouts, FaceTime, etc.)
  2. Click the Gatheround link you received in your event confirmation email* The link will be clearly marked with “Join Private Networking
  3. Sign in with any gmail or email account to join
  4. Enter your name on the event landing page and select CEW Members as your subgroup
  5. Allow camera/mic access
  6. Enjoy networking with current and past Achievers and other beauty executive leaders! 

*Only members who registered before September 3 are eligible for the private networking session. If you believe you should have received access to this networking session, please contact the support chat below. If you did not receive a link to join the private networking session, please attend the Roundtable Airmeet Networking Session
